- And, finally, as we prepare to take communion this morning, God’s steadfast love is best seen in Jesus Christ.
o Galatians 4:4 tells us that, “In the fullness of time, God sent Jesus” to fulfill all his promises.
o And Romans 5:8, “but God demonstrates his own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.”
o Or Jesus’ own words in the Gospel of John. “There is no greater love than this, that one would lay down his life for another.”
When we hear about redeemers in the Bible, when we hear about God’s steadfast love, we who live on this side of the cross can see with so much clarity what these pictures are pointing to.
The love of God, the redemption that he provides for us in Jesus Christ.
When talking about providing for our needs and drawing people to redemption, we have to look to Christ as the ultimate provider and redeemer.
And simply praise and thank him for his constant faithfulness to us.
